Hold on to your hats lads - Dwarfication

I think you are missing the point lads and lasses.
The point of this article is that they are getting their excuses in early. Look how it ends:

"Due to the so-called ‘dwarfication’ effect, however, the Magpies are by no means guaranteed promotion next season - even with Benitez at the helm.
A long and gruelling season in what is undoubtedly one of Europe’s toughest and most-competitive divisions lies in wait".

Besides, in the lad of the blind, the one eyed man is king.
In the land of the giants (one tier below us dwarves) the fat waiter rules for ever.

i like how benitez "decided to swap the bernabeu for burton" and not the fact he was shit at real with arguably one of the best squads in the world, got sacked and was looking for a decent pay deal

Let's hope they end up there then!

I Like how Di Matteo has an 'unenviable' task or resurrecting Villa, but Rafa's job is sound as a pound, and they keep sneaking 'world class manager ' in at every opportunity I've noticed, it's like the power of suggestion, keep saying or reading summat so often it becomes gospel.......
It's worked though. When he got the job most expected them to survive comfortably as all the problems were caused by Schteve apparently. As soon as it looked like he might not be up to the task it was decided he never stood a chance anyway and now their fans are lapping it up. Brave Rafa taking on the impossible task of keeping them up ready to lead them to Championship glory. If he fails it'll be Ashley's fault of course.

In the land of the deluded the Mags are King. What a ridiculous article
