Why do so many celebrities seem to support other teams?

That reason is - most celebrities aren't really avid fans so they align themselves with the obvious - United, Liverpool, Arsenal etc. Very much like most of the public do who 'notionally' have a team. I know an awful lot of people who aren't really all that keen on football, but say 'I suppose Man United'.

I'm pretty convinced that's what's happening with a lot of celebs.

Sting deffo used to watch us as a teenager, was pally with a lass I know who stood beside him in the Roker End.
If you list them all there's quite a few now, not many serious A-lister types but known to most I'd say.

Buster makes eastenders less shit,as he is the only person in it who has any semblance of acting skill. Used to love brush strokes as a kid. Hope he gets a severe head cold for supporting charlton on that day tho,how dare he not support the 'ammers being from London?
