Another mag wierdo obsessed about the things that have nee baring in football i.e. celebrity fans, how good a city centre is, where players live, airports etc etc etc.

Football is just about football plain and simple, non of the above shit
...and the Mags aren't very good at it atm and that's why they need to have a go about all the other fluff that doesn't really matter and we can't do anything about, it's a Tory-like smoke and mirrors trick to distract away from the fact they are shit and we relegated them.

My Mams cousin Paul W S Anderson, movie director who spent his youth growing up in Brandon, Durham. He is a huge lads fan!! My Mam has a picture of him and his wife Milla Jovovich in SAFC tops I'll try and get it and post it up, he last came back over for my grandads funeral in 2008 and they took in a game or two.

Now I'd like to see that!

I don't know about Catherine Cookson.
Melanie Hill is an actress, she's in Coronation Street at the minute
Steve Cram was an athlete, he does a lot of commentating these days
Kate Adie was a BBC news reporter
George Clarke is a TV presenter
James Herriot was a vet, the All Creatures great and small books and TV series were based on his life
Toy Dolls are a local band

Cheers.

I have a CD with The Golden Virgins a kind person on here gave me many moons ago and Frankie & The Heartstrings I have heard of before, too but that's about it for my knowledge of local music acts. Never read nor watched All Creatures Great and Small but I know sir Hopkins is in it. Same with Coronation Street, never watched it. I wouldn't be able to name two former Danish athletes let alone a UK one. George Clarke, depending on what he presents, and Kate Adie are the two I have most likely come across without knowing out of the list.
