He asking for so much transfer budget in the knowledge it will get rejected, so he has got an easy excuse to leave and thus retain the kudus of his famous relegation win

Good point .......... he'll also be looking at the likes of Dyche, Allardyce & Pulis and wondering how dinosaurs are roaming 'his planet' ;)

In the cold light of day anyone of his supposed stature would be asking serious questions of themselves as to why they would manage a championship club.
