Lets All Laugh At Newcastle (Again!)

No my dear fellow, as if I would be being a cheeky monkey. I am merely puzzled when looking at the directly comparable 10 games managed by both men. There appears to only be a 2 point difference between the pair across the same 10 games which seems like a very small variance (draw instead of win) for one of them to be regarded as useless by a large number of Newcastle fans whilst the other, is lauded as having made a massive difference to results, and chased to remain at the club. The gulf in perception between the two is all a bit of a mystery for those of us who have actually seen the direct comparison of games, I fear.

I have no doubt that you have seen some tremendous improvement in team spirit and that this has provided some form of hope of future good results, however, any claim that results have measurably improved, seem incorrect to me.

..........................Benitez.......McClaren

Villa...................Draw.........Draw
Palace................Win...........Loss
Liverpool...........Draw.........Win

Swansea............Win............Loss
Southampton....Loss...........Draw

Good grief, are any of you able to read the posts that have already refuted this monomaniacal claim?

According to your associates, my club is absolved of all blame and it was in fact the players of Sunderland AFC that relegated Newcastle United.

It must be boring for the more reasonable amongst the members of this board to read the identical arguments being raised against me, though. So I promise not to respond to any unoriginal argument in the hope to move the discussion on from this conversational cul-de-sac. Deal?

Here's a different argument for you to consider.

Do you know the match in which Leicester City clinched the title?

Now, you see where I have compared exactly comparable games against the same teams with each manager having an equal amount of home and away games as each other don't you Fish? What do you think your non-comparable rainbow coloured charts are showing here? If it is that Benitez had less games, it shows that. What it doesn't show is that he would have achieved any better results had he been in charge for those games - actual direct comparison shows this not to be demonstrated.

Benitez did worse against the top teams compared to the same teams against McClaren. Benitez is adored. McClaren...well you all love him just a little bit less than Benitez, yeah?

Just to clarify, because I'm getting confused here, they are in the Championship aren't they? It looks as if the Fish is almost convincing himself otherwise

Seems to think he is on a fishing trip from toontastic - . In his delusion he seems to think it is going well.

So Carragher said he wasn't good enough to keep you up, the job he was employed to do. You are now using this as evidence to defend Benitez?
He just happens to be the wrong type of 'World class manager'?
For the record, I doubt I would have managed to keep you up either so if you want to build a statue in my honour, crack on.

Using Carragher as an example of the 'great and the good of football' is really scraping the bottom of the barrel.

Especially as Carragher had said earlier in the season that Newcastle wouldn't be relegated under McClaren

He doesn't even confirm what Fishy is saying, just says he's 'unsure' ....... sitting on the fence isn't 'saying Benitez didn't have enough time'.

Fish: "I know that you will twist logic to fit your narrative but when the great and the good of football say that Benitez didn't have enough time, I'll take their word over a biased Sunderland fan. Carragher said, before Benitez had even taken charge of a game, that he's unsure there were enough games left as Rafa isn't firebrand motivator, he'd need time to turn the ship around."

They are slating us for a 45k viewed page taking the piss out of them, but that 1 thread I saw is on page 190? I reckon roughly that would be twice the length of the Benitez 1. Pot kettle thick as fuck

Oh the irony. I'm not obsessed with the toon in the way they believe,I'm obsessed with laughing at them, laughing until I cry is the ultimate goal, but they are just to clever for that and reign their utter stupidity in just in time. Bunch of morons
