No they won't. I hate Newcastle as much as the next man but Villa aren't bigger than them these days.
this is true, but hopefully the claret and blue knackers will sort themselves out this summer! The more decent teams in that league the better imo. Keep the mags doon there.

Over 5 hours on here man, you were posting on here before 0530, so apologise if I suspect your bullshit! You must wake up and go straight on here, do you have a family?

I do, I piss about on my phone for about half an hour before I get up browsing various sites. I do have a family, yes.

I did wake up at about quarter to five this morning but my alarm goes off at 5:30.

Maybe you should take that ability to see when I posted this morning and put it use finding those 4 examples I asked for...

:lol::lol:

Seriously though the way some of your lot are going on this tops the lot for me

Of course some will go over the top, there was some of yours predicting 7th/8th placed finishes for Sunderland next season yesterday. We do have more than most, I agree.

Just sit back and laugh when Benitez can't agree with Ashley/Charnley and we end up with Dave Bassett.

So to summarise . . . the mags are keen to hold onto a manager with no proven ability at Championship level, utilising a group of players also with no proven ability at Championship level, in the hope that this will enable them to make an immediate return to the Premier League, the league where that same group of players have already proven themselves to be wholly ineffective.

I don't see any problems with that plan at all.
Andy, the thing is, the chship is weak as piss. Look at the team's that finished 3-6. Have you watched the games so far ? The players are dross man.
Even the likes of Anita, Dummett, Haidara, Lascelles, Colback and Aarons will be a cut above in there.
I don't think it's anywhere near a given that Sissoko, Townsend, Perez, Mitrocoward, Mbemba and Janmatt will go either. Once they see Benitez committing, most will stay given they don't face a wage cut.
Far more likely Benitez will bin the likes of Cisse, Gouffran, Thauvin, Taylor and even Tiote.
No way will they fail to come straight back up.

No need, it's on the first page, spend some quality time with family!

The four examples of me claiming you are angry are on the first page?

I'm at work, man. Both the missus and my little boy are asleep when I wake up, not that it's any business of yours like

Any other questions?

If villa can't live on past glories, what on earth are Newcastle living on that makes them bigger than Villa?

Their crowds are almost double and it's a football mad city/area

Birmingham isn't believe me, most people in Brum are not bothered about Villa. It doesn't affect the mood of people so obviously and deeply as it does up here.

 So it's all down to crowds? Newcastle must also be bigger than Liverpool using that logic.

You also need to remember that Birmingham has two clubs, so it's a bit of a red herring to say "most people in Brum are not bothered about Villa. It doesn't affect the mood of people so obviously and deeply as it does up here" as the population of the city is split between both clubs. I could also say that half of the city would be pleased with villa's demise.

sounds like it could be another 'bums on seats' story, much like the marquee signing clubs use to sell season tickets.
i still think a lot depends on which players will stay and which think they are 'too good' for the championship...although my thought on that are that if players get relegated then they should have to stay there for a season.

I'd rather some of them didn't tbf. Gutless wankers.

Do you understand the scale of Birmingham as a city?
Re Liverpool - clearly not, that's just due to the restrictions of their ground size

It's not a red herring at all, Birningham just isn't a football city - nothing like Sunderland, Newcastle, Liverpool, Manchester, Glasgow etc

That's how you got stronger last time, got rid of the shite like Beye, Geremi etc who couldn't give a fuck. Left a strong core that were far and above better than Championship level.

How do you even quantify something like that? A city with two (or more if you consider the wider conurbation) clubs, one of which is one of the most successful clubs in England, is not a football city? Reeto mate - you're talking out of your arse.

This.
Brum is the 2nd largest UK city after that there Lahndun, iirc. Metropolitan area population of nearly 4 million. They just don't like footie anymore. Used to be different.
