God almighty. How old are you, man? You sound like a petulant child with that comment.

Of course I'll give him credit, I think he had a part in bringing someone of Benitez's calibre in and I credit him for balancing the books and putting us on a sound financial footing (I think he's gone too much the other way obviously but he gets credit nonetheless)

If he conducts himself worthy of credit, he'll get it. He'll still firmly in the shithouse category but he can change my mind.

Would you have Ashley at Sunderland?
She's right though, It's his money that's making this possible. Do you honestly believe Benitez is staying because he loves the club  it's because Ashley is paying him £5 million a year.

Eh you accuse me of sounding like a petulant child then say "he's still firmly in the shithouse category"

Yes, you're throwing a tantrum

'You never give him any credit'. You sound like Kevin the teenager from Harry Enfield.

They aren't like. Not saying the mags are bigger but Villa aren't FAR bigger.
Villa will be the biggest club in the championship next season easily.

After that, it's debatable whether Leeds or Newcastle are in second place.

How dare you suggest that he doesn't love the club, the city, the supporters and the Pashun and every other cliche from the magedia. Wash your mouth out with broon ale

The club owes Ashley. He could quite easily pocket the parachute money and say he's invested enough, like Oysten did to Blackpool.

Could do but why would he sabotage something he already owns? Until we see the accounts for 2015/16 he hasn't put a penny in since we were in the Championship, the club has been self-sufficient.

If the alternative was administration and doing a Leeds or Portsmouth, then yes, I would.

The biggest mistake he has made in the last 12 months was appointing McClaren, and all owners make mistakes.
