But if he doesn't?

Then he won't be to blame. There's a lot of fundamentals that need to change though, such as the overarching transfer policy which sacrifices the balance of the playing squad in favour of buying players purely to sell them on at a later date and the culture of cups 'not being a priority'.

You'll never give him any credit ever

Probably, half of the clowns on here had you reincarnated as the greatest team ever once Rafa came despite the overwhelming evidence pointing the other way.

That said, you stand a decent chance next season, biggest club in the league and so on, it will be difficult though.

:lol::lol::lol::lol:

Villa are a far bigger club than Newcastle.

:lol:

God almighty. How old are you, man? You sound like a petulant child with that comment.

Of course I'll give him credit, I think he had a part in bringing someone of Benitez's calibre in and I credit him for balancing the books and putting us on a sound financial footing (I think he's gone too much the other way obviously but he gets credit nonetheless)

If he conducts himself worthy of credit, he'll get it. He'll still firmly in the shithouse category but he can change my mind.

Would you have Ashley at Sunderland?

Eh you accuse me of sounding like a petulant child then say "he's still firmly in the shithouse category"
