Only if someone is willing to buy them, that's the reason they got back on 2009, Ashley tried to sell but because of the Premier league wages they were on they had to stay and won it. Hopefully these will go though.

In his shoes, I would want complete autonomy over who comes and who goes. There are plenty of players in the squad who they could lose with little or no consequences. If topping up their wages at another club for the length of their contract is the price to pay for getting rid, then let them go.

At this point he needs to focus on building a team that will compete in the Championship and win promotion at the first attempt and have the basics of a team that will compete successfully in the Premiership.

Getting rid of the journeymen and bringing in players who have the heart to fight for the club all season, rather than just turn up in March and play for the last six weeks of the season, is the way to go to prevent them from copying Sunderlands constant flirting with relegation.

Given he's just been named for the squad, what exactly should he be worried about? He is either good enough for England, or he isn't. The division that he plays in is irrelevant.

Of course it it's relevant.

Do England want players who compete against the very best week in week out, or players who compete at a lower level. Would he still be picked for England if he went to play in the MLS or the Chinese league?

Not this time I've got a gut feeling about this...plus He'll want money and plenty of it, and that doesn't just mean spending on new players, he'll also want the over paid lazy players already on the books to stay anarl......
