What about the stuff he won inbetween at Valencia...Liverpool (maybe inter Milan can't remember) and took Napoli to champions league ?
he won the Coppa Italia with Napoli, which they won the season before he went there too, however failed to get them near the top of a relatively poor Serie A and got them knocked out the Champions League despite spending heavily when he took over.

What Rafa really said:

"££££££££££££££££££......£££££££"

eth eth eth chris waddle £££££££££££££££££

Don't give a fuck what clubs he's managed. His defensive options consist of Coco the Clown, Paul Dumett, Big Stevie Taylor, the marauding Janmaat, Lascelles, Mbabu, etc. Good luck Rafa

mbemba.....

hes record is good, but his teams were always good / excellent. not the utter circus he's got now

It all hinges on if he keeps them up really, if they down down he will either leave or they will turn shit.

If they stay up he'll probaly build a good squad for them

"Benitez confirmed." I was expecting to see a pic of him in a white dress and court shoes clutching a white bible. Plays well in Liverpool so I hear.

If his previous management record is anything to go by is that Newcastle United will be relegated by the time he leaves.
Since leaving Valencia in 2004, he has managed Liverpool, Inter Milan, Chelsea, Napoli and Real Madrid.
He left each club lower in the league than when he arrived with the exception of Chelsea who were 3rd when he arrived and 3rd when he left. A similar record at the mags will guarantee relegation.
I wonder which side to the contract insisted on the opt out if they are relegated and how that plays out in the changing room.
Same again please waiter

Cannot see him being in the middle with them lot. He will either be utter utter shit or really push them on in the next few years. Hoping its the first one and he fucks off in May.

Has he managed a team in a relegation dog fight before like our Sam has?
