Adam Johnson Trial Verdict

Am I right in thinking Johnson is the only source for what was actually said at this meeting between himself and Margaret Byrne? Or if whoever else was present can confirm exactly what was said?

This is the bit I think people are confused about.

 is this a woosh?

He was summarising the evidence provided by the DEFENCE,

This isn't outside evidence brought in by the judge man ffs

I think you need a few lessons about how trials work.

That's not the judge summarising for the defence, that's the judge reading out the undisputed facts between the prosecution and defence... what was on the police station transcript.

There's no way I'm reading 116 pages of this so presume it's been discussed but does this taint the derby victories to a certain extent.

I'm still buzzing about six in a row but it's just a shame this despicable **** played such a big part isn't it? It's not something I'll ever admit to any Newcastle fan I know but deep down it doesn't quite feel the same.

You lost last night, I see.

You have tried to turn it around there marra. What you said is a completely different subject.
I am simply stating that a person who is going to stand trial for a criminal offence is innocent until he goes to court, and up until that time, he is entitled to earn a living from his employers.
In this case, AJ did that.
I am saying the club have sacked an employee because he was charged with a crime and was innocent. The club might have had grounds to sack him regardless of whether he was legally guilty.

I hope Sunderland AFC and its legal team look very closely at the national BBC news report last night as it implies the Club lied in my opinion.

I think we've found a mag

And, by extension, some will have every right to walk away from the club, if these allegations are true. The smell won't go away just by sacking senior figures, either.

I don't see how, my opinion doesn't change one bit if he told them anything, infact its totally irrelevant to me, they seeked legal advice and followed it, simple.

I know, they've tainted the club by their actions, which is why some folk are angry. rightly so in my opinion.

No it isn't, its summarising the evidence provided by the defence and the prosecution

That is literally what the judge does at the end of a trial, you can't dispute that, if you are you are just lying now.

If you take your validation from what the majority on the smb think then you're pretty weak minded.

Carry on burying your head in the sand.

I don't but, its season ticket holders and loyal fans who post on here, and you are in the minority on this board, that is a fact, whether you like it or not

Doesn't make you wrong, but don't pretend you are talking for most fans here, you aren't.
