I've just heard from his daughter that Phil had surgery yesterday and is doing OK but is likely to be in the RVI for some time yet.
Phil's family are based in Manchester so visiting is very difficult for them.
If anyone fancies popping in to see him then that would be greatly appreciated.
Please pm me and I'll let you have more details.

I don't know.
I know the club via Louise Wanless had been in touch with @glen but I don't know what came of it.
I'm sure that anything that would make his stay in hospital a little less boring would be appreciated.

chris waters has tried a few times to get in touch with me but I keep missing him. Will let you know
chris just called me literally 1 min after posting. He has asked me to let him know when phil ' s first game back at the sol will be and the club will do something for him on that day
