I'm not sure he would either. He could fit in ok but in my opinion i don't think we'd improve significantly. The only thing i would say is he's a bit more consistent than say Cattermole so we might claw a few points over the season there.
I'd say if you were to watch our side with Colback in there'd be no significant difference whatsoever, but at the end of the season we'd have a handful more points. Some of that would be down to his versatility in covering positions for injuries/suspensions where we'd otherwise be weaker.

For the record Colback's best position is Left Back. That is the position which highlights his strengths. I'd say he'd be one notch up the ladder as a LB than a midfielder.
I'd say he is poor compared to Catts,

It's a shame about the Cup Final. No Premier League player has featured in more wins over Man City than Colback*. That is a truly tremendous record, unless you believe he was a passenger in all those victories!!!
(*someone might have equalled his record but i'd have to check).

I reckon John Terry has 16 and can probably come up with another few if you like . How many has Colback got again?

I certainly don't think he was instrumental in those wins.

He's an average player with shit ginger hair.

WTF are you waffling on about? Colback's technique isn't good enough, fuck all to do with how many pies he eats.

Why do you keep regurgitating the same shite on here?

Next up....

We should have signed Ki.
Budget billionaire.
Ghost of Skibo castle.
Has anyone at the club made a statement of intent yet?

Then another Colback thread

Edit: Also another Bardsley thread
You were the one who mentioned lightweight, not me. Colback's technique is better than Cattermole's, especially his first touch.

You missed out "Cornershop Mentality", one of the greats.

Did you see Bardsley's goal the other day? We could do with a bit of that!! Wages were too high though. Looking forward to seeing Matthews, is it??

Haway @PISTON even a Mags said
The mags on here couldn't find St James Park with a f*cking Sat Nav.
The same c*nts were crying their f*cking eyes out after all those defeats till Colback steadied the ship.

He has steadied any ship man

Piston seems to have left the 'No premier league player has more wins against Man City' line alone for a bit. I'll start with:

John Terry
Jermain Defoe

I was talking about Man City as a League winning side when they've been classed as a top side and hard to beat, not going back to 1992.

Yoo Hoo @PISTON

Roy Keane
Yoo Hoo Rocky.
Roy F*cking Keane?? Was he even playing when the Awab mans arrived at city?

Nice change of goalposts.

What a berk
Out of interest how many for Terry and how many for Defoe?

Not a bad all time group to be in Terry, Defoe, Colback.
One of the most successful captains in PL history and one of the top scorers too.
I'm not so sure how many times Defoe has done it too though!

I reckon he'd struggle to steady an inflatable dinghy in a paddling pool:lol:

Yes but he's also played for Wigan and Middlesbrough.

Carry on.
And how many times did they beat city with cattermole playing?
I saw you added Bardsley, i wasn't sure if he played in Stoke's recent win. Scored a great goal the week before, good player for us was Bardo, another hounded out by the boo boy amateurs!!:)
