I'm not gonna laugh to much having them first game but I can't see him doing much there, nice fella but not up to taking a bottom six club anywhere imo.

Completely underwhelmed my this appointment. In fact I literally feel a bit sick, I've just come back from taking my mother in law to Luton Airport and had a Burger King on the way. I rarely eat junk food so I'm not sure if I feel a bit sick over the burger or Ranieri.

He's a big name and managed some big clubs but he's 63 and never really excelled beyond expectation at any of them. Sometimes I wonder if football management is a meritocracy or is most of it repuation?

I can't see him being in love with this job and living. eating and sleeping Leicester City like a hungrier, younger, ambitious man would.

I'll give him a chance but I'd honestly pick MON or Neil Lennon over Ranieri.

You're not for not partaking in the odd Whopper are ye, ye Chubby Fooka..........

I know they are a bit illiterate down there but I've never seen Klopp written so badly.

FoJ

he's been sacked from his last three positions - Inter, Monaco & Greece :lol::lol::lol:

High expectations at Inter and Monaco despite them both clearly not being the best teams in their leagues. As for Greece, well Greece are just terrible at attacking from what I've seen.

Definite improvement on Pearsomn

I like him but wouldn't want him here. Can see it being a disaster

He's unused to life at the bottom of the Premier League ........... I find him to be a bit of a fake with his Mr Humble routine.

You do realise O'Neill is also 63

I think the Thai owners will give him a fair sized war chest.

Of course I do but MON wouldn't come to Leicester just for the pay cheque.

He would only have come back if he thought he could reinforce his legacy. In his own words he has more affinity for Leicester than any other club he has played for or managed.

I didn't want MON either, too old and a dinosaur but I'd have taken him over Ranieri all day long.

He signed Huth, and has worked with Cambiasso,so hopefully can get him to sign again.

As managers go it's not as bad as people make out,who else would you have gone for?

There is risk attached to all the names mentioned.

I am looking forward to the season, this guy will attract names, something I doubted Pearson could do.

So now he is here,we need to get behind him.
