It's Ranieri

In fairness, there was a few 'leaving before he was pushed' situations with Advocaat. But if you've been around for as long as Advocaat and Raneiri you're not going to have a near flawless record unless you're Alex Ferguson!

Ranieri on the face of things is in the boat as Advocaat - a vastly experienced manager in European football that has had his ups and downs, but is still respected. People on here would admit it too if it wasn't for internet oneupmanship with that arrogant Leicester fan that gets on here

I admit it, he must have something to have managed allow those top teams. The onkything that would worry me is that he's probably used to spending big money, certainly over therapy decade anyway

I thought he came across as a decent fella when he was over here, did a good job.

He must be canny if they chose him over klopp, wonder if the leicester tycoon lost a few million at the bookies?

Nothing against Raneiri, he doesn't strike me as a bottom of the Prem manager but perhaps Leicester don't think they are a bottom of the Prem Club.

Mangers don't make good teams good players do.

Decent. Finished 2nd with Monaco recently, had a mare with Greece but overall I think this is as good as Leicester could have realistically hoped for.

It genuinely makes me sad that there are grown men who have so little enjoyment in life that they have to go on a message board and continually try to wind people up. Imagine waking up and thinking "better log on and see what threads I can be miserable on today, might get a bite or two", it's pathetic, "internet persona" ffs
He's the Adrian Durham of the smb, pay him no mind.

Ranieri has his rep because of what he nearly did

He nearly won the Champions League with Chelsea
He nearly beat Jose Mourinho's treble winners to the Serie A title with Roma

Won the Spanish cup with Valencia tho

Completely underwhelmed my this appointment. In fact I literally feel a bit sick, I've just come back from taking my mother in law to Luton Airport and had a Burger King on the way. I rarely eat junk food so I'm not sure if I feel a bit sick over the burger or Ranieri.

He's a big name and managed some big clubs but he's 63 and never really excelled beyond expectation at any of them. Sometimes I wonder if football management is a meritocracy or is most of it repuation?

I can't see him being in love with this job and living. eating and sleeping Leicester City like a hungrier, younger, ambitious man would.

I'll give him a chance but I'd honestly pick MON or Neil Lennon over Ranieri.
