We're still playing pretty much a Steve Bruce signings squad.

Best finish for many years.

Brought in some talent for cheap that we then got good money for (sess, bent, gyan,mig, Mcclean)

Had a squad that scored lots of goals when the strikers were in good form, and had some good , albeit overpaid, players in it.

Did we really sack him for a good reason? I know I wanted him out at the end but I honestly can't remember what I had to complain about at the time compared to now!

@chelseatiger I really hope Hull stop up, for obvious reasons. Unfortunately I don't think you will because you have an absolute charlatan as a manager who has spunked around £40 million on a squad with relegation written all over it. The sad thing is, if yous had sacked him and got pulis or someone in you'd probably be safe now. We all tried to warn you what Bruce was like, but you wouldn't listen and said we were all bitter. I hate to say we told you so (actually I don't! ). How did the song go again? - "Steve Bruce is too good for you! " I think not.
