It was a joke on a message board that evolved into something real due to a few quid each of about 150 people. The only people taking this seriously are the people who are vehemently against it.

Yes but it still could have been possible to take a step back and think hang on whats coming next and could possibly have some affect on this............It wasn't as I said previously so its got to go ahead now..........

You didn't pay the deposit in those first five minutes did you.......... ;)

As I've previously said, it was very much a joint venture between a random group of supporters with nobody in charge. However, as soon as the original funding was sabotaged by mags that made it more a challenge, them v us. Were we going to back down to the mags? Were we fuck!
 
Hopefully the plane will take off in a southerly direction and the fumes off ICI Billingham will disintegrate the embarrassing banner

Yes but as I have said theres so few folk aware of that mate that in the grand scheme of things its really irrelevant................

I would suggest you start to look on e-bay for coffins and vicars garb mate...........I know you already have the barnet........;)

We're all in this together Keith, you did a good job taking over the donations after the plug was pulled because of the Mags complaining to GoFundMe but there were a lot of people donating and we all wanted this to go ahead. AC Mack was pretty much a lone voice against this then.

It was always just meant to be a bit of fun, who knew people would take it so seriously? A lot of Sunderland supporters are far more precious than I realised.

A lot of the negatives have only came after the Palace debacle but we didn't have the benefit of hindsight. However, caving in because of another defeat in a season of many bad defeats was never an option.

Or, regardless of what Newcastle fans think, the rest of the country looks at us and thinks we are the last people that should be taking the piss out of anyone, being pretty much the shittest team in the league, and one of the worst for the last few years.
