Over 100 people have taken a whole 2 minutes each to donate a few quid each to have a laugh. How are they finding time to get on with their lives? ;)

It took me all of 2 minutes to add an extra email (that I already had but didn't use) to paypal. It takes less than 30 seconds to withdraw the funds from paypal which I'm doing in £50 chunks.

Though I wouldn't go as far as some of the other dissenters saying this could have massive repercussions on our reputation, are you trying to say you don't care what the general football public think about our club and our fans? I'm surprised any Sunderland fan could hold that viewpoint, especially as our biggest rivals have a reputation as a bit of a laughing stock.

If all points have been made, why should only people you disagree with not add anything more, but you can?

I've kept quiet on this thread, but shouting down anyone who thinks it's a bad idea (or calling them mags) just shows how pathetic some people are.

I disagree strongly with the idea, but respect those who don't. It looks like you're getting money, so well done on that.

Believe it or not, some of the people who disagree are Sunderland supporters just like you!

I haven't slated anyone have I?

I'm aware that people not supporting this are also Sunderland fans and I respect their opinion but I think they're wrong, this is just a bit of a laugh.

This thread is for raising money for the plane (which we've almost done) and for charity and the odd few are hijacking the thread just to make the same points that have been made in the other 50 pages.

Nobody expects anyone to be donating that sort of money for a bit of a laugh.

Enough people are donating small amounts that we will reach our goal anyway.
