The plane fly past is back on...

We can agree on the 'daft' bit but I won't be laughing and to be honest most mags will react exactly the same way we would of they did it in reverse.

So lets start again.

What would be your reaction if Newcastle fans organised a hilariously funny fly over at one of our games after they had just beaten us but were still below us in the league? I am pretty certain the reaction would be to turn it into a piss take the other way and laugh it off. That's what will happen lads and the media will spin it against us.

Thoughts on a post card please.

Lads, see sense, this is an awful idea that they will laugh at and it makes us look pathetic and will also use it against us for years to come. Its not a victory that will be replayed on SKY for years, its a comical own goal that will be replayed on the Christmas DVD's for years.
Honestly mate
You've made your point. You've said it numerous times. We all know your stance. You don't have to repeat yourself all the time, it's getting a tad tedious
Life's great, we all don't think the same. Several others will think like you, lots will want to pay for a plane as they think it's a laugh, lots won't give a fuck either way.
But don't keep on making the same point over and over and over again.
You've said your opinion. We're aware of it

Hi TVBC,

Having a wonderful time here sat thinking of that plane we sent over the Tyne gazzumping their Ashley out plane. Oh the joys of rubbing it in after our famous 5 in a row.

Hope you like the postcard, it's plain and boring.

Thinking of you.

gas man xx

There will be 45,000 singing sad mackem bastards at full voice and that will then be replayed on every media outlet for a few days. Is that what you want?

In all honesty I don't think it matters enough for you to be so worried. If it's another "thing to take the piss out of us with" then who the hell cares? If the mags want to take the piss fine, that's exactly what we're doing, isn't it?

If they make fun of us for this plane, or turn it on us, what happens then?
are we ashamed in any way? have we lost some kind of respect? No of course we haven't. Football fans lost all their credibility ages ago, when they started getting into fights during games etc... This plane thing, if it does go south, changes nothing.

It's just funny, nothing more, nothing less. They wanted to get a plane saying #Ashleyout, someone made a joke saying we should do #5inarow instead, and it spiraled from there.

As I am the only one on here making this point I reserve the right to ram it home.

I was actually thinking that some sensible people would listen and think again, but to be honest you are actually right. Anyone who ever thought this was a good idea is already beyond redemption and I may as well just go to bed and let them get on with their madness.

bit arrogant that mind. Just because something amused us we are beyond redemption or mad? get off you're f***ing high horse. It's only football, Important shit is going on in the world. Get mad about that, this isn't nearly important enough for you to "ram home your point"

Hopefully they also have far more sense than to waste money on an anti-Sunderland stunt. Its anti-Sunderland because it makes our fans look small time.
I know where you are coming from but whilst i dont think it will have any impact whatsoever on the Mags, because they are expecting it, i suspect the rest of the country might find it amusing.

I go to most of the away games and what crops up all the time is 'your fans are better than Newcastles'. Doing stuff like this damages that reputation that is very hard earned over years and years and I care about that because I go away and I talk to home fans at other clubs on a regular basis. We do have a standing in the game and its clearly more down to our fans than our team and our fans are respected up and down the country for our sportsmanship and friendliness. Stuff like this is neither sporting or friendly.

The thing is, if the people you talk to at these matches are going to judge you on one action perpetrated by other people, they aren't worth worrying about anyway surely? You are acting like fan reputation is the be all & end all in life. It doesn't matter one jot
