Only the lad himself will know if he feels mentally right for the game, but personally, the possibility of his first game back being away from home means I would shield him from the public eye. I know it just so happens to be the mags next at home but it would be more beneficial for the lad if his first game back was at the stadium of light with hopefully, the full support of the crowd.

Would you start him at West Ham? We desperately need him to be in the right frame of mind for the rest of the season, think it will be him that keeps us up if anyone
We have him for 3 matches by the sound of things but what do I know.....so play him

If he's up to it. Depends how he feels.

He could be actively suicidal and still be better than having Rodwell or Wickham out wide

I personally think he will struggle with the abuse mentally so I would "maybe" have him on the bench away from home and start him at home, then if away fans start with abuse it's up to us to make sure he can't hear it through our support

It doesn"nt matter where his head is, he'd contribute more than Alvarez did last week. I'd stick him on the left and put young Watmore on the right.
