You've got the cheek to laugh at CARLOS CLASS when I post a huge post once in a while (stating truer performance facts rather than misleading goals per season/appearance) whereas you seem to be on here 24/7 constantly mentioning this uber lifestyle you have? :lol:

Got one thanks and seeing as I'm my own boss, hence the reason I can waste time on SMB once in a while posting some stats. The only problem being I've got to explain them whereas there will be those that won't even need to read my post as it's quite simple as to what I was trying to explain ;).

I'll make my long post very simple seeing as it's basic algebra that is very easy to explain.

A is Goals scored
B is Appearances made
C is Total minutes on pitch

The best way to get a true reflection of goal return is C/A. Some on SMB like to blinkeredly look at B/A but surely C is relevant to that also as C could be 1 minutes or 90 minutes per appearance. It seems @not spavin thinks that A by itself is the most relevant stat over a season ;)

We would get murdered in midfield with a 442. Just my humble opinion but Defoe will give us movement and pace up front that we have lacked

It makes a difference if you play a team of dwarfs, whether it's on the deck or not. Even the purest of footballing sides need some strength and presence - look at Arsenal - Welbeck 6'1, and Oxlade-Chamberlain 6', gives them the physical strength they need. It also rules out any possibility of playing crosses, or scoring from corners, which would become pretty pointless. And the fact is that a lot of Wickham and Fletcher's goals this season and last have been in the air.

That team would be bullied out of pretty much every game. I think Defoe needs Wickham alongside him in a front three. I also think we could do with Rodwell in midfield.
 
Ramside Hall is building some proper posh houses and you get use of the golf course ,spa and hotel to cook food, he will buy for him and one for his mum...
