True, I suppose it's not my money so I shouldn't really be too concerned with the finances.

As you say, as long as his goals keep us up.
 
Always hated him. A raft of goals will change my mind.

Conversely, Jozy seems like a great bloke. If he ends up at Portland I will go and support him and if I ever see him I'll buy him a pint, or whatever he drinks. He's been poor though.

Okay, Okay. Good point well made. I suppose it'd be best to have someone on the books who might score as opposed to someone who definitely won't score.

I'd be pleased with the signing, I just hope we play to his strengths.

i don't hate him but i wasn't overly pleased when he broke craig gordon's arm.
i agree with your comment re jozy, it's just not worked out for us/him.
 
If it's true, hope their is transparency with the numbers. A lot of it is coming from the Defoe camp, so I would imagine the numbers are inflated. I hope so anyway.
 
Will be great signing if he stays fit IMO. Can only benefit the likes of Wickham and Mandron. Only concern and it's a pretty big one is we need to create chances for him. Midfield still needs at least one top quality addition.
 
Couldn't care less how much the man is getting paid. If his goals keep us in the league, that's worth £70m alone
