I would think it's a pretty safe bet that if this deal goes ahead it involves Jozy Altidore crossing the pond.

Edit: Sorry misread your post. Hopefully it is a straight swap or cash our way. Altidore's value is still high in the US.

First post ever but first time I've had FACTS ...I've had it confirmed Defoe definitely at the hotel du vin ...friend of mine confirmed that Poyet was also there and as he put it "skinny long haired white Brazilian ex footballer he recognised...Leonardo would be my guess ...but yes JD & GP have had a meeting tonight (with other representatives as well) I'm delighted with this

I know that, thought at worst it would have been a fair swap, with maybe them paying a little bit, not the other way around
