Wrestling 2013 - Part 2

Tna has been moved to a Friday night by destination America :lol: RIP tna.

Also on a channel with only 60% of the spoke tv customers have.

They could really be in trouble IMO

I don't really see why that's funny.

I don't watch TNA, but why would anyone want it to go out of business?

It's the nearest thing to competition to WWE, and as much as anything is a place to keep wrestlers employed.

On another note, is Jeff Jarretts new promotion ever going to launch?

think he's just laughing at how bad the slot is. According to rumours the roster was pissed off by how good the booking is on NxT and they had to have a talent meeting, so just shows even competition from their own developmental company can push the WWE forward nevermind having some competition from another company altogether, sadly it's not gonna come from TNA.

Also according to reports

'“Reigns was originally set to win the Rumble and headline WrestleMania. There is a lot of skepticism in the industry whether Reigns is ready for that push. Thus far, the crowd is positive toward him, but he did just return. They aren’t blowing the roof off the joint for him. But there absolutely is an issue with him.

As far as a guy delivering modern scripted promos, he’s not that guy. He does have a good look and has a few moves that are over, making him a great babyface power hitter in a tag team. He’s good enough that he can have a good match with the right opponent, but he’s not great on his own in a 20:00 singles match. Then again, they do need to make a new babyface superstar.

Randy Orton isn’t new. Daniel Bryan, no matter how the crowd reacts, is not their type and right now, there are still questions regarding his recovery from his neck and elbow problems. So it’s Reigns and Dean Ambrose. Ambrose is the better promo and the better worker, but he fits less into the mold of what they want the company’s top babyface star to be.

Both sell merchandise but (even with Ambrose’s hoodie being No. 1 two weeks ago) neither is doing numbers there to signal being made the top guy. Both have been hit-and-miss with crowd reactions in recent weeks. But it’s Reigns’ spot to lose. And right now, he still has that spot.”'

I think there's an outside bet of Ziggler as well, consistently getting one of if not the biggest pops of the show for ages now, being booked better than ever, him beating Lesnar is a bit of a stretch but he's got the whole underdog thing going perfect at the moment.

I'd put Reigns against Rusev, he'll go over huge if he beats Rusev and he wont have smarks booing him for winning the WWE title straight away, plus it's better to let a younger talent going over Rusev rather than him being fed to Cena.

And i should get out more. :D

Smackdowns are getting moved to Thursdays over there next year.

I would do exactly that with Reigns. For the Rumble, their really isn't anyone I desperately want to see face Brock. Whoever it is is obviously going to win. Remember Brock / Goldberg at Mania? I can't help but think it's going to be as shit as that

Reports were suggesting they'd offered Alberto del Rio a big deal to wrestle exclusively with them, so it looks like they're still trying to improve.

As far as reigns is concerned, i'll say it again, Ambrose and Rollins on their own have shown just how much they were carrying him, both their mic work and in ring work are superb, I cringe at every reigns promo, like telling show he'd punch him in the mouth, ffs

Unfortunately I think they are done for!

I used to really like TNA and even went in January 2011. Better than any WWE event I have been to, and I have been to first ever Raw and Smackdown in the UK etc.

Tuned in here and there recently to TNA, its mental how little the arenas and crowd are now. Starting to make ECW arena look like Wembley Stadium.

He's gone to ROH instead, but they're obviously not restricting his bookings.

A fighting fit Daniel Bryan would put on a great match with Brock but he won't be fit in time. Ambrose vs Brock would be a nasty messy brawl (in a good way).

The thing is, i would really love to see the Shield in a triple threat at Mania
That would be the best solution, but WWE creative aren't that bright.

I do think, in a way though, that to have The Shield triple threat this WrestleMania would sort of be too early for them all to face each other (it would probably work regardless), so they might as well give them (Reigns) 2015 to properly establish themselves (himself) as singles stars and have Rollins/Reigns/Ambrose at WrestleMania 32.
