CM Punk on Colt Cabana's podcast
Aye ive heard it, saying he suspected ryback was deliberately injuring him in their feuds after breaking his ribs, refusing to let him accompany sonnen to the itv ring but letting triple h mix with mayweather, sounds like he despises the place, changed my mind yet again he's either the best actor ever in doing a work or in all seriousness just done with wrestling

Quick question for you wrestling buffs, has there ever been a time in WWE when something has not gone to script, for example the wrong person winning of a proper fight erupting in the ring?

The rock v Cena at WM kind of, the result didn't change but i think the match ended quite early because the rock pretty much ripped his full muscle off the bone. I think thats what happened anyway

Nah he did it early on but completed the full match. It did hamper his performance though.

Can't get cabanas podcast like

What bitter wanker Phil Brooks is, "I don't want to come across as bitter and I don't want to bash WWE..." "I wasn't in the main event of WrestleMania. I was facing Triple H, they were a few reasons I left". He's a proper prick.

I get your point but elements of what he said should concern many current roster members. Lack of forward direction is something all wrestling fans have expressed concern over for a few years now, and the implications of the network on worker's pay offs was clearly not a priority for the company in the inception of WWE on demand.

Punk has always been about number one, and nothing else. If he feels he was being mistreated then power to him for picking up his ball and going home.

At the end of it all he's gone and there's now a huge gap for someone else to come in and take the spot he left behind. Was he actually that big of a draw when Champion? Probably not. Could they do with him right now? Yes, they probably could - but once all the long term injuries are sorted, that's less of an issue.

The fans would love to see him back, but it won't happen. I'd compare his relationship with the company to the relationship Savage had with WWE, in the end.

Is Punk a bit of a prick? Aye. Is he wrong, though? No, not at all. There are glaring problems with the current problem and it all stems from one man. Punk makes that very clear. Vince is out of touch.

I remember reading a quote that Triple H has never been a draw, but he's always orchestrated himself to work with the companies biggest draw.

Punk probably feels that way too

CM f***ing Punk. Completely agreed with everything he had to say. He was getting fucked about badly. Vince saying "I owe ya one pal" about three times. An incompetent doctor ignoring a potentially fatal staph infection for three months. WWE trying (unsuccessfully) to screw him out of money. Getting fired on his wedding day. Christ. I'm glad he's happy and healthy after finishing up wrestling. Now he gets to do what he wants and go home to the lovely AJ Lee. A true idol. Best In The World till the end.

anyone else having trouble listening to it?

It kept refreshing at around 25 minutes, I'd posted it before that point

He seemed a bit upset about being sacked on his wedding day like, almost as if he'd done nothing to bring that upon himself by doing something like, well, I don't know, walking out and violating his contract before it was up. If any other employee from any other company in the world walked out before their contract was up, they'd face the same fate, it's not as if the world is against Phil Brooks. Aye there were some things he said that you could agree with and say, aye that's harsh, the whole UFC/Triple H - Mayweather fiasco, but other than that he genuinely does come across as a stroppy wanker.

Firing him on his wedding day seems to have been the final nail in the coffin, no chance he'll go back.

Thought he had a right to be so pissed off personally, but i suppose it's whether you like CM Punk to start with or not. ;-)

Don't believe he was incompetent, the doctor of Aj Lee told him what it was straight away more like 'Just tell him it'll be fine we need him for the next 3 month damnit!', and people wonder why he was pissed off, just look at the symptoms of a staph infection too.

Punk on Ryback
'I'm very dumb'

Also Punk blocking wwe on twitter while he was still working for them.

I think he sounds pretty reasonable, they just never seen him in the same bracket as cena, even when as he says he was getting more shirt sales, massive exposure after the pipe bomb etc

Think it's interesting he didn't recommend Roman reigns for the shield, and now wwe sees him as their next top guy, says a lot
