Silly bloke. Not doing himself any favours with comments like that. Looks like the gus bus might be having some engine trouble

That won't do him a lot of good with Uncle Ellis.
Sounds like he's talking gibberish to me - it's hard to understand what he's on about at the best of times - I'm not sure what he thinks he's not taking any responsibility for?? He's the bloody manager - it comes with the job

Getting his excuses in early.

The sad thing is this is our 7th or 8th consecutive season
now in the PL and were no nearer establishing ourselves as we were in our first season. Every club that has come up since us (and survived the first season) have progressed, kicked on and overtaken us, even the f***ing mags.

Could be worse, we could have done a Portsmouth.

I told folk at Work before the season started that Poyet would be gone before Christmas.
anyone who Re signs Llarrson , signs Bridcutt and Buckley is a sandwich short of a picnic and now he is sheltering behind excuses that it's not his side.
Didn't he delay signing a new contract until he was assured of having the final say on transfers?
He now appears to be shifting the blame for the shower of s..t he puts out on the pitch.
He appears to be taking a typical south american shrug of the shoulders attitude.
"Hey not my job/responsibility?"
Man up Gus you cannot shift responsibility to Congleton no matter how useless he is for the way the eleven played who you sent out under your instructions.

Having heard that, I'd say Gus is on borrowed time, and rightly so.

Very disappointing but we saw this last season before he was forced to bring Wickham back and the "miracle" happened. He was happy to take credit and plaudits for that, so he should take the pelters for today. He played Wickham out wide, FFS, against that fast lad.

Has Congerton's JD been altered, mate?

At least they won a trophy and had European football to
reminisce about, instead of relegation battles season after season.

They also nearly went bust several times, and dropped like a stone from the Prem, to League 2.

He'll not be here much longer imo.

That's a massive dig at Congerton and the current squad and we all know what the squad do when the gaffer has a pop.

Loves shifting the blame does Gus. Is happily see the back of him like

We are visitors to the top flight and don't seem to have much appetite to become an established part of it. Can't think of too many years where we have been comfortable.
