Aye, booking was far superior and plenty stars with an unreal roster. Storylines were class. There was genuine surprises too, these days everything is broke weeks before.

The lack of stars these days is also down to the dreadful booking and lack of long term vision. Present say has far better actual wrestling than back then mind.

The irony of the situation is that depite the current 'product' being absolutely woeful, the depth of talent within WWE is probably as good as there's ever been. You've only got to look at the talent wihin NXT to see how good it could be (if only Vince would fuck off).

I mean seriously, what the fuck is Kenta doing in developmental FFS? One of the greatest talents in the world for the past decade and Vince puts him in developmental.....and changes his f***ing name!

God only knows what they're gonna do with Kevin Steen.

Tbf Kenta is learning to speak English plus adapt to the WWE style, I think it's the right decision to send him to NXT as long as it's not too long, they don't want another Sin Cara. NXT is looking stacked with talent, Neville, Sami Zayn, Tyler Breeze, Kenta, Enzo and Big Cass, Kevin Steen, Devitt, they've even managed to make Tyson Kidd interesting! As for the name it's to do with copyrights, CM Punk managed to keep his name as CM Punk and owned the rights to it, now they're having to go to court because of it.

'Finn Balor' just doesn't sound like the sort of name they'd give to a future World Champion imo

It's a shite name like but the talent have a selection of names to choose from, at least they used to as Daniel Bryan was saying how one of his options was Buddy Peacock  I wouldn't read too much into that.

It's not too bad to be honest, now I'm getting used to it, prince devitt was much better like.

Buddy Peacock :lol::lol:

November 6th until Finn Balor debuts, the name has grown on me already. His music is f***ing amazing and he's still doing his usual stuff in the ring.

What's happened to Big E recently? Not seen him in ages, mind you I never watch owt but Raw and PPVs.
Him, Xavier Woods and Kofi were on raw a month or so ago Xavier gave them a speech that made it sound like they were gonna become a stable, none of them have been seen since.

Supposedly vince is trying to take back control from triple h and Stephanie, blokes a control freak. Mind him and triple h are almost as bad as each other, something I'm sure Shane Mac would agree with

Balor is an ancient dragon in Irish mythology - He is from Carlow, Ireland afterall but promoting himself as Irish won't win him many fans - Sheamus rules that roost.

WWE's main problem right now is that the Main storyline isn't revolved around the Heavyweight belt - Lesnar isn't even pencilled to be involved in HIAC and the whole production just feels like watching 3 hours of mid-carders.

Devitt and the rest that have been brought in said they don't want to be playing up to the stereotype of where they're from so doubt he'll be promoting the fact he's Irish much.

Apparently Vince is keep rewriting the show at the last minute and it's showing, looks rushed and lazy.

Raw's live in Chicago tonight which means one repetitive thing for 3 hours straight.

So, whee's going to ICW on Sunday? Can't wait, absolutely stacked card. Sadly no Grado but he isn't the be all and end all.

Aye was thinking this. Can't see it subsiding until he returns, name seems to pop up again right when it goes quiet.

Got to say mind he'd be an unbelievable opponent for sting at wrestlemania next year

He's finished man. He's done with wrestling, he has no interest in coming back. Sick of the fans chanting for him. I loved his work, one of my all time favorites but people need to move on.

Hanging on for the first 30 minutes to see if anything good happens. Dean Ambrose will probably appear from under the announce table this week.

Curtis Axel rumoured to have been released.

No more Rybaxel :(
