Sun's beating down at the moment, no doubt they'll start on time.

If England can get a lead of 150/200 by mid afternoon I reckon we could blow them away again and finish it today. They'll need to, forecast looks garbage for the next 2 days.

I'm not one to blow my own trumpet but ;)

India's batsman looked gone in the last match, it's like they're playing on a different wicket to England which is due to Jimmy and Broad stepping up in the last 2 matches as much as the difference between the batsmen.

Just makes that Lords performance all the more worse
True.

They are mentally weak.

Hilarious thread as usual chaps. Two almost faultless performances in a row from England, Finn and Stokes for Jordan and Woakes and there's a makings of a team.

Great few days, best pint in the ground was the Wainwrights.

Was it a long walk for that?

They don't look half as good on the traditional English wickets prepared at the Rose Bowl and OT.

Can't remember who said it but look at the amount of back lift and follow through in their batting, compared to say Butler who is just stabbing the ball.

it should have been ;)

England were missing Broad and only had 3 bowlers to worry about (Ali, Anderson and to extent Jordan). been thinking about it at work today i would be fuming if i supported india.
Unsurprisingly Dhoni is getting crucified by the Indian press. Like Cook he has been cut a bit of slack up till now due to the number of retirements of senior players.

Tbf in the first innings our bowling was simply outstanding! By the time the Indians were batting for the 2nd time they knew the game was gone.

his captaincy has been average in the last two tests it seems that they have run out of idea and fight.

this was set up to be a cracking tight test series.
