True, but the press are generally all over the major ones - I can appreciate Jones and Gomez signing without much of a fanfare, but even Pantillimon was tracked from the airport, Rodwell was reported on by local and national journos. So far today? Not a peep on Borini.

Not doubting you, just thinking aloud really and trying to put a "sensible" argument in my head to counteract the excitement.....

You really do just try to get all the negatives from everything. As another poster said could be pending medical. Again to reiterate, all i have been told is the deal is going ahead. The money will be leaving Sunderland and going to Liverpool. There is nothing more to it. Its HAPPENING!!!!

Deal has hit a snag as he has questioned the clubs ambition and nurturing ability due to the lack of progress of growth of the trees at the AoL

yes but borini doesnt exactly need to be shown round the clubs facilities does he. Wonder if he could sign without being at the aol, at least at first?

I'm not. I think our chances of signing Borini have improved to better than 50-50 in the last few days. We'll soon find out, but I just don't think anything you've said brings us any closer to that.
