Does anybody hate the mags?

Yes I corrected it I think you'll find. You really think I grassed you? Come on man.

Yes, I do.
You talk about bans quite often, it is clearly your objective. Says quite a bit about you. I imagine you are a tiny weak man who gets bullied.

I talk about people getting banned as illustrations of their stupidity. If I'd reported you I'd tell you Bonny lad. Trust me I hadn't as first I knew about it was the thread regarding it. You've been banned on here plenty by all accounts and probably before I arrived as well so you can't lay blame at my door for your general horribleness.
A tiny weak man? :lol::lol:
How wrong you are.;)

Type that with your forehead did you?
An illiterate dwarf .

People use the word "hate" loosely when football is concerned mate. No i dont want to harm anyone but i do like watching their bottom lip quiver when were walloping them 0-3 in their own back yard
To me it seemed particularly pertinent to address it on the back of the fund started here for the 2 Newcastle fans. Multiple posts talked about the North-East and how the response was typical of solidarity in the area, how it was a credit to the nature of the people there and how they can rise above football trivia.

What's fascinating to me is how fans often mythologise themselves on here. Most members seem to be "real fans" - it really is in their blood. They can't imagine not supporting Sunderland. But there is an underlying element of having to especially differentiate themselves from Newcastle, more intense than I've seen with other rivalries. Newcastle are often spotlighted in the TV media with many cliches - Sunderland seem like the younger brother that gets ignored.

They're probably the same as us.

Majority love their team with a small minority of bell ends giving it big licks.

Majority of my mates are mags, we disagree about football pretty regularly but they're still my pals.

Why? Are we supposed to be bessie mates now?

Not that far but the moral minority are looking for people who are honest enough to say they don't like the Mags and then pontificate. The ones who do this; none of them are match goers.

So does ten games a season not constitute a match goer then? Just wondering what the cut off point is that's all.

The OP asks who hates the mags. Its a question. Some do, some don't. It has utterly nothing to do with whether they are regular match goers or not.

Agreed. A few of me mates are very much the typical Northumberland Mags, as far as they go I just try and avoid football talk with them where possible.

Know one Mag from Morpeth who's 28, yet never been to a match.

I'm afraid that is bullshit my friend. There was a comedy group in the North-east in the late 70's early 80's, if I remember correctly they were called The Don Juans. They had a song called Frida' Neet. Which had the line "It's Frida' neet and wa' gannin tappin' in the Toon".

I had their two casettes , 'Sheer filth' and 'More Filth' ,brilliant stuff!

I go to the match and have done most of my life.

I don't hate them, I always want us to turn them over and probably enjoy watching them lose, but hate? Nah, not at all. They have a few idiots but so do we.
