I reckon Borini is just trying to make as many twists and turns as possible as he has a bet on with someone that he can get the longest thread in SMB history.

Why? Rightly or wrongly he has set his sights on a club bigger than us but in the meantime he may be happy to use us to get to play football and put himself in the shop window (for either Liverpool or another big club). in a loan scenario he is not committing himself to a club for 3 years or so.

As I have just said, Maybe Sunderland have asked them to keep further progress quiet so that they don't have to keep answering questions about it at every interview Poyet gives?

If he definitely wasn't coming we would have heard categorically by now. We shall see what happens in the next week.

Sounds like a great plan, play him in a couple of friendlies, get his agent to say he doesn't want to come and fake an injury to send him back to England.
I'm sure that's exactly what's happened just so Poyet doesn't have to answer any questions about it.
I think we will sign him.

It doesn't surprise me one bit that Borini won't want to leave Liverpool for us, it would be a big backward step for the lad. I don't like the idea of him "using" us though, ok our team will be stronger next season if we get him but we are never going to progress just relying on loan signings season after season, that's one of the reasons we are in the situation we are in.

It's actually only the last bit that has anything to do with us perhaps asking them to stop leaking stuff, something which happens often. The injury isn't fake but it would make a good excuse for him to come back.

Gettin daft now, about 70% of the threads on here is someone trying to start a discussion, for a load of dafties to turn it into another nothing thread. Witha bit of focus on this board after the donations, it really is embarrassing and its getting worse. Its hardly a football forum anymore. Nobody can post anything without a load of bored idiots fulfilling their days.

Unless it's a scratter flight that ferries the human sheep to their 2 week all in package holiday, I thought decent airlines, and especially those who fly in business or first class, had free wifi.

I've just checked the LFC tour schedule and it is quite possible that they are no longer there.

They are due to play in Chicago (27th), New York (30th) and Charlotte (Aug 2nd).

They're currently in Chicago. Don't ask me how I know.....all I can say is that I definitely haven't been following the Twitter feeds of Liverpool Echo sports journalists desperately hoping for scraps of information about Fabio.
