I think the key sentence in that post was that the player heads off with his CURRENT club. Just because Liverpool agree a fee doesn't mean the player has to jump at first opportunity. Believe it not Sunderland isn't the be all and end all to a professional footballer Bonny lad. He's keeping his options open and I don't blame him.
