Youve made a point which isnt true, Ive seen a lot of deals hang from the bid being accepted.
What point isn't true? Can you name a couple of examples where a big money bid is accepted by a club who have then played that player in a friendly the next day? I don't think that will have happened often if ever.

I've not been on here last day or so but have I got this right?

Media outlets like BBC, SKY and the rags saying we've agreed a deal with Liverpool and both managers have confirmed this but because of some italian shitehawk that gets nowt right and hates SAFC due to the kieth lemon being sacked for being shite recons he knows Borini is gonna knock us back and everyone believes this?

If we pay him what he wants and hell get regular football and all the fans love him why woul he knock us back?

I think he will sign.

No you've got it wrong mate.

Liverpool have accepted our bid but he 's then got on the plane today to join in with their US tour.

I'm pretty relaxed and confident it will happen.

I can't see us not having checked with him first if he would be interested in moving here before pursuing him.

Poyet said that there was some 'correspondence' to be sorted first which could either be the dotting of the i's and crossing of the t's on the deal or Borini's agent sorting his final payment and any loyalty bonus he is due to before leaving.

As the lad from Liverpool posted earlier on, Rogers has taken players away on pre season trips before even when a bid had been accepted.

This will be sorted next week and he will be our player.

Bolton accepted a bid for Cahill in December and Cahill still played for Bolton until the deal went through in January. Cahill was going to be a bosman that close season as well, so a pretty big risk by Bolton.

Don't see what is so important about it being a friendly, because if he does turn us down, he will need to be fit enough to sell to another club so of course Liverpool will play him in friendlies.

Pretty much sums it up, apart from he got on a plane with the Liverpool squad and since then it's been glass empty, glass half full or glass full. Just another day on here really

I don't get the melt down, Gus said he was waiting for paper work.

Obviously hasn't went through and Liverpool have told him he still must go on the tour. He has no right to say he will refuse to fly.
