Tbf to the lad there's nowt wrong with wanting the best for yourself. If you look at things objectively then it's natural he'd rather play for Liverpool than Sunderland. I've thought all along that'd he'd hold out for the biggest club possible that was gonna give him first team football and we'd basically be a last option if there was nothing else available. Just cos he'd prefer to be playing at a higher level he doesn't strike me as someone who'd give anything less than 100% to whatever team he's playing for and if he does come I'm sure he'll do well.

Borini always gives 100%, certainly in all the games I've seen him. But as you say it seems like a last option for him, just seems a lot of money for someone who doesn't appear overly keen. We'll see.
