Nee worries man

Its not 1974 anymore mate

I know that. They still wont have asked beforehand.
This is Sunderland making an attempt to sign a player thatr they had on loan last year, nothing more, nothing less. Poyet has indicated that hes waiting for permission to talk to him.Presumably one of the first question will be "Your current club have accepted a bid that is acceptable for your transfer to us, are you prepared to come here"

Thats if he gets a chance to ask the first question

Hope not, Echo certainly thinks its rubbish.

I guess we will soon see, might be reading between the lines but Poyet was fairly coy, I reckon he thinks Borini still might need persuading.

I'm not wholly comfortable relying on the echo either like, it has to be said.

Out of interest, how many other things has he got wrong about us? And has he ever got something right?
Nee idea but as the news of the fee being accepted was known last night, Rodgers confirmed the agreement today, and then only late evening the news of the apparent rejection is known, I'm sure Rodgers wouldn't have said anything about the deal if he has been told by Borini he was going nowhere, I think this may just be his agent trying to unnerve the club ahead of negotiations

So naive

Its sad that there are actually some of our fans hoping it does fall through so they can have a bit gloat
Im not hoping it falls through, I just wont believe it until it is confirmed. Im 40 years old and have been here to many times before to get too excited, unlike some plonkers who seem to be ready to dash out to buy shirts and have "Borini" printed on the back without the confirmation.

I am pleased with the ambition, just cautious.

Borini has spoken to Brendan Rodgers about his intentions. Although he is flattered, Fabio has rejected Sunderland. [Di Marzio]
I would be a shame if Di Marzio is right for once.
But even the closest journalists to SAFC said Johnson wouldn't sign for Sunderland a few hours before he put pen to paper.

He got everything right last summer because Di Fanti was giving him all of the info about our transfers. Since he's left he's got nowt right that I'm aware of. Think he was the one who suggested Mannone wanted to leave too but I could be wrong.

Should i bin the top then ?

I hope thats the case Deggsy as he'll be a good solid aquisition. Not sure how many he will score over a season, but a good signing, never the less.

I wonder if Wickham will sign if Borini does?

Exactly. His mate is obviously bitter as fuck that Poyet got him peddled and is trying his best to spread negative stories about us. Not sure what the end game is with this one though, maybe to alert other clubs?

Never ever employ someone who looks like a used car dealer.

Questioned Di Marzio on the previous Vito story...

it happens that things Change, no? I said what i know now. Maybe wrong, no problem. News are free here, People decide.

The man will know as much as us
