any other clubs bid £10m plus ...never heard much....only us ??
Dunno, my own guess is that now the bid is out in the open, eg, Liverpool have signalled they will listen to offers, that hes hoping others will now bid. Liverpool may have to accept a lower bid from a more desirable propostion. Its the players that seem to have the power.

There ahave been many examples of clubs agreeing fees, but the player not wanting the move and eventually moving elsewhere for less. Maybe this will be another.

Exactly. They would not of bothered bidding if he did not wanna come
not so sure about that

you were off ya pedestal like a bitch in heat having a pop at so many attacking them with your vitriol as normal , take a back seat calm down and pray your arrogance pays off and we sign Borini

Liverpool's Borini blocks the transfer to Sunderland

Di Marzio hasn't got a story right about Sunderland since Keith Lemon left.

Hope not, Echo certainly thinks its rubbish.

I guess we will soon see, might be reading between the lines but Poyet was fairly coy, I reckon he thinks Borini still might need persuading.

Seen it suggested on twitter that someone could be feeding him false info, like manone handing a transfer request in with an axe to grind against the club

Out of interest, how many other things has he got wrong about us? And has he ever got something right?

I would suggest the local jounos will no more than these Italian lads like (arrogance back)

People choosing to ignore the Liverpool Journalist who broke the story saying Borini is pushing the move through. They believe the mate of a bloke we peddled a short while ago who has an axe to grind though.

I doubt there's been many examples of players rejecting move after being at the club on loan for the previous season. We'll have had the chance to speak to Borini about a move. I really doubt we'd be going after him if he didn't want to come here.

Borini has spoken to Brendan Rodgers about his intentions. Although he is flattered, Fabio has rejected Sunderland. [Di Marzio]
