If he turns up every game and gets 25 league goals like Darren Bent did, ill hold my hands up and admit I was wrong.

Nothing against the lad at all, I just think we're being blinded by the fact he got 2/3 important goals for us.
f***ing hell ive just realised you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about.

Rising to 14m it's steep but considering 11m gets you a championship plodder, kind of puts it in to perspective. I m pleased to have him back, and it's great to actually sign one of our most successful loan deals. He's Scored some important goals, great penalty taker, would run through brick walls, is a great professional, can play a couple of positions. Top signing IMO. Now go get Alonso and Vergini sorted out

I'd love it if he ended up costing us that much over the next 3 years. As then he'd have given us 3 good seasons, he'd still only be 26 so hitting his prime, still under contract and worth about twice as much as we paid for him. Everyones a winner.

Did you watch us at all last season?

We don't play with an out and out striker who offers nothing except goals, which is what Bent was. We play with a front three who are all expected to chip in.

It's amazing how quickly posters have shifted from "spend some f***ing money" to "that's too much" in a matter of minutes. Anyone would think they just like to moan.

Frankly ridiculous fee... but I'm not paying it. As long as we still have the money to bring in the rest o the players we need I'm not arsed, but if we've spunked our budget on Fabio and end up dumping for shite in other positions as a result I'll be gutted.

At the moment, delighted he looks to be heading back, eyebrow raised at that kind of money though.

He never played as a striker last season apart from the Man City game, he was pretty much a winger and that record is good for a winger. We'd do well to get a striker to score 25 goals for 14 million.

£14m what a joke. Liverpool certainly saw us coming. That's about £7m wasted when we could have used that money to fund other positions

We're really not very good at this transfer malarkey are we?

Exactly mate. What Borini brings to the team is just as vital as goals
