He's a decent enough striker and has a habit of scoring against us. 14m is a lot of money though for a 7-8 goal a season striker
Would think its a huge chunk of your budget too where other areas of the pitch needs serious addressing.
Looks like you will utilise the loan system again to pad out and just repeat the circle

Its alot of money but hes also a brilliant player that we are unlikely to lose much money on if it doesnt work out. The new tv money is obviously a factor, and im struggling to think of a more high profile signing of proven quality we could have made without paying similar money. I dont think our options are vast, as we have to face facts and admit we are not the most attractive prospect to top class goalscorers.
 
The telegraph reporting its been accepted. Cant do a link as on my phone. They maybe jumping on the bandwagon but if its only that fee including add ons get it done. Only 23 and we can watch him smash the mags again and again
