Remember the Wickham deal was £8m rising to £13m. If we've got a proven premier league striker for less than £10m rising to £14m then I don't think we've done too shabbily.

I guess... got to pay what the market demands... was thinking we'd get for £11-12.

If dippers turnaround and sign Remy for £8.5m (as is the speculation)... it will make me immediately think we've overpaid... but then again, I hear the sticking point with Remy is he wants royal wages (£80-90,000 a week )
