And without short reigning the egotistical fooka in we could have been another Portsmouth!
It's yer classic 'MrJardine' argument - blab on about someone who pretty much got a career-ending injury - ie noone can prove owt but it won't stop him spending the next ten hours gannin on about itExcellent reasoning but you've failed to convince me to agree.
Mig has just picked up a runners up medal and will be playing champs league this season. If only I could find that Stoke away game when Gordon hoisted the white flag whilst stood on his line as the big Stokies came at him!Excellent reasoning but you've failed to convince me to agree.

WHAT??????????????That actually doesn't look too bad.
If a fit Gordon had been in the scouse goal they'd have won the league man. Mig ain't all that - they're in for a replacement already though I can't remember who it isMig has just picked up a runners up medal and will be playing champs league this season. If only I could find that Stoke away game when Gordon hoisted the white flag whilst stood on his line as the big Stokies came at him!
Cracking shot stopper but soft as shite and glued to his line.

But he did reign him in and we aren't another Portsmouth. He came at the right time and left at the right time and everything inbetween was nothing but targets achieved, whilst giving all of us hope again after the lowest point since relegation to the third division. And without short reigning the egotistical fooka in we could have been another Portsmouth!

Peter Reid in almost keeping us up with a truly horrific team with no money at all in our last season at Roker was an impossible job. A lot of managers have come up with a quarter of the budget afforded to Keane and kept sides up.You're quite right, the spending needed to be curbed drastically.
But... Roy didn't sign the cheques and he did a near impossible job.
He had his faults but dear god the job he did was amazing

Linked??? Probably soccer sauce was it?Gordon was very heavily linked with arsenal, who were far more than Liverpool were when they bought mig, before his injury.
Almost is nothing in football. Nothing.Peter Reid in almost keeping us up with a truly horrific team with no money at all in our last season at Roker was an impossible job. A lot of managers have come up with a quarter of the budget afforded to Keane and kept sides up.

Came in at right time and left us in a mess. Peter Reid came in when we were staring relegation in face. He kept us up then won promotion next season with no money at all. We were a lot lower when he came in believe me.But he did reign him in and we aren't another Portsmouth. He came at the right time and left at the right time and everything inbetween was nothing but targets achieved, whilst giving all of us hope again after the lowest point since relegation to the third division.
Seriously is there any point to your guffoonery?*shakes head profusely*
