Haha, apparently the other person involved in this discussion is on your ignore list. You cant even see the peopleyou wind up! But aye, its all me.

Me not wanting to dislike NUFC? Where do you get this from? You are genuinely amazing, mind. I dislike NUFC. I just don't think (or post) that they are scum etc. Because thats what I did when i was 16. And ive now grown up.

If all you did was talk, thatd be fine, youre constantly on the bother hunt.

Honestly, spending a second with you would be an utter nightmare. Thank you for your offer, but I will politely decline, cheers.
Exactly mate. I probably had similar views to Bristow at that age. Hated Newcastle ,all scum etc etc. I just thought once you matured and started working and socialising amongst a broader spectrum of people, you would realise that just because people may not share your sporting allegiances it doesn't make them scumbags!

I am not saying it never worked however, that type of Gamesmanship should be eliminated by the officials.
Have you ever played football? I'm guessing no. Players are in each other's ears constantly. Centre halves telling the forward how they are going to break the forwards leg etc etc. It happens. Do you think catts doesn't go around whispering to oppo players that he's going to two foot them? All part of the psychology of sport Bonny lad.

In real life, I have been best man to 2 NUFC season ticket holders.
My best man is also one of those and he has form for being a bit active against SAFC fans.
I am also godfather , uncle and brother to NUFC fans.
But BB and Mr Geordine know me far better.

Personally I don't think it was anything bad. At that point it's all about getting your country through, it's up to the penalty taker to keep his nerve.

Any half decent penalty taker would've used Krul's antics against himself. Plus, Krul's centre of gravity is high so it takes more effort to move or change direction.
Should've been 5 penalties all just slid either side past him or completely the opposite way.
All the gamesmanship, all the eyeballing and all the arm waving mean f**k all to your centre of gravity.

I haven't read through the full thread so this might be seb but with krul making international headlines for basically single handedly getting Holland to the world cup surely this will step up teams interest in him and he is now, in my opinion very unlikely to be at the scum next season

You have me all wrong. Considering I have played football to an excellent standard, until I was 20. Then released. I am now a sport scientist. So if you want to talk about sport psychology you have came to the correct place, considering I lecture it at least 11 weeks out of the year. ;)

Not sure where to start with that mind, so I won't.

It is, its also up to the officials to ensure a fair/level playing field. Just thought he crossed the line.

It was a fair playing field, he had the same distance to try get the ball past the keeper as the Dutch players.
If someone walking up to you and saying your gonna miss/I'm gonna save it or whatever he was saying puts you off then you shouldn't be taking the penalty.

I'll give you chance to compose your good self and gather your thoughts.:)

Nah, way, way above me that lot.
I do however think that the pelantee taking pliers ( Waddle) do their best to score, employ the best methods they can, but Krul saved a couple regardless.

Maybe, just think there should have been more enforcement from the officials. I understand your point though.

Then you will appreciate that a bit of psychology if used correctly can be useful. Up to the penalty taker to be mentally stronger. Much like Borini last season. The ends justified the means.

What the fuck does this have to do with Sunderland?
I think he's making a joke on the basis that it was 100% certain Gus laid a cable at Palace while he was manager at Brighton.
That the whole story was a total fabrication cuts no ice with some.
We do have a hardcore of incorrigible scatologists I reckon

I also appreciate knowing my stuff and rising about your previous post which was full of unsubstantiated claims and statements.

;)
