Maybe you should look at trying to bridge the gaps? You dont HAVE to have two different personalities. The difference you state is one that you have put there. This is escapism. This is a place whereby I can be with other SAFC fans and talk about SAFC and our rivals; I thought with impunity.
But on a Sunderland forum, not liking NUFC has seen someone indicating that they would like to get me into trouble professionally and it would be worth every second.

Tell you what, I will give you my train times for West Brom, the first match. We can spend the day together and I'll introduce you to far better SAFC fans than I will ever be. Lets see how they feel about you not wanting people to dislike NUFC.
