I can't understand the omission of Stokes, I think it might be a case of your face doesn't fit.

He'll be in for india, expect plunkett to drop out as well. I think there just giving stokes and finn more county cricket which is a good idea imo.
 
As previously mentioned, he is in there for his recent batting performances as much as his bowling. We have an inexperienced and/or out of form batting line up.

I am not totally convinced it will be as easy as that, he should of been picked.

Plunkett will play against Sri Lanka, as with him Jordon and Ali there is enough batting.

If Plunkett can deliver he will be nailed on for the India series.

Stuart Broad is carrying an injury that requires surgery at the end of the season, he was clearly limping at Notts last week v Durham and his bowling was average at best, yet he's in the squad. He has a knee problem which wont fix itself, it wouldn't surprise me to see him limp out of the series after his first bad performance.

It will be him,jordan,finn,bresnan for the third seamer. Stokes will be the fourth seamer/all rounder.

I wouldn't bet my house on it. A lot of inexperienced batsmen who could perform (or not) in the SL tests.

There is no way you can say for certainty that Stokes will play against India, you just can't.

Because of Ali they can afford to have 4 out and out bowlers, as Ali is basically taking Stoke's place.

If they bowl well and Ali plays well in these 2 tests, Stokes won't play against India.

They don't really need Stokes and Ali in, because you basically have 8 batsmen there.
