Not too well mate. All the Middlesex quicks bowled far too wide, far too short, far too often. The spinners got a bit of control, but by the time they came on we were flying.
Hopefully our bowlers have seen where they went wrong and can bowl much better lines and lengths. The pitch is nowhere near as flat as 411-4 suggests. It was reminiscent of the Yorkshire match IMO, of how poorly the seamers bowled early on. It all made for a wonderful day of cricket in the sunshine though, when the clouds pissed off
Me too, looking at the forecast we should get a couple of sessions in (atleast) tomorrow before the forecast showers arrive late in the afternoon. Tuesday looks grim but I think Wednesday is better. We'll see.
