Similar to the "would you walk" thread but from a fielding perspective.
Would you appeal the following, and how far would it need to go for you to appeal?

I'd appeal the top one, because otherwise there's a decent run-out chance on. Unsure on Pathans as can't be sure he meant to boot the ball away.
And what about timed out? Say you're defending a medium sized total (170-ish) and the batting side make a steady start and their big hitter is due to come in at 5. They suddenly go from 100/0 to 110/3 (for example) and their number 5 has been taking his time getting his pads on/going for a piss/keeping score etc. Worth a quiet word in the umpires ear to let him know? I would, but then I'm a cúnt.
