LFC was built at a time when football was a level playing field; a team could get promoted and challenge for the title. This is impossible now and players sign for them due their name.

actually despite some bad suburbs, liverpool has a very rejuvenated city center and is likewise located in a geographically more suitable and more convenient position to the rest of the country than we are.

But can it just be area on its own? Liverpool have been successful and consistent for years, they have the prestige, reputation, backing and finances to keep them going.

Our recent history in and of itself means we don't have any of that, then the area comes into consideration..

It could be a hell of a lot worse than it is. Look at Pompey's current situation for example. Some of our fans really don't know how lucky we are.

Fuckin hell, you wouldn't think our main rivals are Palace, Fulham and Cardiff. We are in touching distance with Palace, have the better run in. 90% chance? You would think we were like 1/10 onto go down. We are evens. I think we have a 50/50 chance. Palace are poor and it looks like their little resurgence is over and they have a very tough run in!
