Hmmm, suggests to me someone at the FA may have given them the green light to appeal. All seems very dodgy to me, expect this one to get overturned, shockingly.

The FA will make a rod for their own back if they recind it, can't see it, but them twats have a pact with devil:evil:so you never know

sending that link to the f.a. think everybody should, can complain that this along with all the other evidence means that this appeal is totally frivolous

Probably Norwich appealing their ed card has made them think perhaps we ought to give it ago

If the appeal has not been heard by sat he can play, another match is only added if the appeal is considered to be frivolous

I thought that the FA brought a rule in to prevent this exact scenario, appealing just to play in an important game. It could be seen as frivolous after Pardews comments after the game

Yep this is why they are appealing it - in the hope that normally the decision would be made by Monday so he can play on Saturday.

The appeal had been heard and rejected, these things happen quickly these days, Remeys appeal will in all probability be heard today or tomorrow
 
Desperate or what?
Not a prayer of gettin it overturned in no small part due to pardiolas comments agreeing with refs decision. He will get slaughtered as losing the plot for this if safc win satrdy.

A head butt is a head butt, whether you smash someone's face or lightly touch them. He deliberately put his head in to the other players head, and it wasnt for a quiet word. Add in the pushing etc. There was plenty of intent and aggression there, and I'd be surprised if it is overturned.
 
f***ing hope he doesn't play, top player. Could be something in this tho if they just want him available for the Derby as they have a MUCH better chance with him in the team and Pardiola won't want another defeat on his hands.
