It's not horseshit - over 50% of SAFC football fans ive worked with have come out with racist comments about footballers & society over the years. Just cos they don't do monkey noises or chant racist things at the match doesn't mean they aren't racist.

Regularly hear racist bilge around me in South Stand. In particular the grief hurled at Jozy is certainly influenced by his skin colour.

Sadly I only wish i had the balls to report it.

At the end of the day, people say stuff in the heat of the moment. It doesnt mean they would hoy a ring of tyres on someone and burn him. If i wandered through the congo and pissed someone off I wouldnt take offence if they called me a white wanker/bastard. Its just the way it is

I'm sure if you so a bloke punch a woman, you wouldn't shrug and say "well I felt nowt so carry on".

I used to go to Elland Road a fair bit when I was at uni in Leeds and there was an awful lot of racist stuff going on there. There crowd tended to be fairly mixed in terms of ethnicity anarl, so it could get pretty grim.

It's not a Sunderland problem or even or a football problem - its an arsehole problem. The world is riddled with absolute arseholes, more and more of the fuckers each day.

It's hardly the same thing, is it? A better comparison would be you walking through London and getting loads of abuse for being a lesser being because you're northern working class.

'Heat of the moment' isn't any excuse either. It's the football - not the front line in a f***ing war.
 
Was in the south stand today, some kids dad hurled a shit load of racist comments at altidore and diakite and ji and ki, even had a pop at benteke! then the bairn joined in with him.

Fuckers like this should not be aloud to breed
