assuming trott comes back into the side and performs up to his original standard what do we see happening?

personally i think cranberry will be discarded, root back to open, stokes retained at 6.

guess it depends who performs best out of cranberry, bairstow, stokes.

seems i wasnt the only only one, boycout on tms just before he took the wicket;

I know what you mean. While our middle order seem to collapse the Aussies middle order dig deep which ultimately wins matches.

Absolutely. The noise on snicko could have been anything. I'd prefer it if snicko was dropped and they just used hot spot.
 
This Australian team are nowhere near as good as they believe they are. They've come against an England team in a real state of collapse. I would love it if we bloodied their noses in Melbourne and Sydney and they get a right howking in South Africa.
 
Well, what happened there? Switched off in a huff after we were skittled and then woke this morning expecting the usual Warner/Clarke century. We've only got them 9 down with a 90 run lead. Am I still pissed?
 
Well, that's a nice change. The bowlers have dug the inept batsmen out of a hole here, time for Cook and co to step up and score 400+ in the second inns

Its a bowlers wicket though, so anything over 300 may be difficult chase

There's no real demons in, the pitch, it's just slow and therefore difficult to score on. This will be a result pitch, no chance of a draw so we need to make sure we are the ones putting the Aussies under pressure
