Mark Nicholas sounds delighted, the cock
As much as I like Athers, I often get a similar impression from him. He often sounds very pleased when he sees an Aussie taking a wicket, probably TBF to him because he enjoys seeing good cricket regardless of who plays it. I get the feeling he's certainly not the most patriotic member of the Sky commentary box.

strikes me more as one of those people so negative they enjoy being proven right.

you know, like 90% of the posters on PF :lol:

not a fan of boycoutt at all

I can't stand boycott but he has said nothing wrong this series. Our single biggest failure has been to bat patiently against strategies to stifle our batsmen. This has resulted in cheap wickets and our bowlers given insufficient time to recuperate in hot conditions. Case in hand being Kp, batted patiently for 4 hours at MCG then tossed away his wicket with a slog. We need less sloggers and more Chris tavares.[DOUBLEPOST=1388177013][/DOUBLEPOST]

Atherton is a narcisist. Probably likes seeing england fail as it makes his captaincy look less of a disaster.

total inability to leave on length, aussies have played the bounce perfectly, we have been woeful.

i remember seeing bell jumping up to try and defend a ball that was going over his head ffs and we've seen carberry and panesar leaving balls going straight onto the stumps.

All points to shit coaching by gooch tbh

Big fan of him personally. Rarely talks shite and just wants England to do well.[DOUBLEPOST=1388177513][/DOUBLEPOST]

I blame the silly c*nt for KP's dismissal. Started boasting about the bet just before KP got out. Curse!

He did, aye. And he got Warne to admit he'd like to see KP get a big score. It was all set up and then fell flat.

Beefy wrecking the studio [DOUBLEPOST=1388189203][/DOUBLEPOST]ffs these twats are gonna get near our total here

garbage bowling and garbage captaincy. Digging the ball in half way down and allowing Haddin to just eradicate the lead bit by bit by having the field set so deep to get Lyon on strike. Embarrassing tactics particularly with a new ball in the bowlers hands. Horrific stuff from Cook this morning

Bout time, and is that right what lawry said we've not got lyon out this series?

edit: aye 53 runs for him 4 NO in 4 innings f***ing embarrassing
